Guidelines : Nonfiction
We're looking for interesting and applicable nonfiction work. We'd like to see interviews, factual articles, descriptions and histories of graveyards, historical pieces about strange deaths, essays on related subjects, etc... The key to having your nonfiction writing published in Necrography is thematic fit and uniqueness.
Refer to our submissions page for instructions on submitting your work for publication.
- We buy first world serial rights, online publishing rights, and anthology rights. All other rights remain with the author.
- We accept manuscript lengths from 500 to 7000 words. Please query first if your piece exceeds 7000 words or if you are unsure about its applicability to the Necrography theme. Queries may be made by email (see the submissions page).
- We pay for work on acceptance and publish anywhere from 1 to 12 months after acceptance.
- Byline is granted unless author requests anonymity.
- Payment for nonfiction is from $5.00 to $30.00 USD per article.
- Contributor receives one copy of Necrography when the submission is published.
